Department of Chemistry student Linwen Zhang presents "Cellular Heterogeneity of Metabolic States Derived from the Analysis of Single Human and Plant Cells."

Linwen received her BS degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis from China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, Jiangsu, investigating enantiomer separation of drugs by capillary electrophoresis. Her current research in the group of Prof. Akos Vertes includes developing and applying new ionization techniques for the metabolic and lipidomic analysis of single cells by Mass spectrometry.
