Join us to learn more about the MPA & MPP programs at the George Washington University. This information session provides prospective students on opportunity learn about the programs and their admission requirements, with ample time to address any questions or concerns.

About the MPA and MPP at The George Washington University

MPA: The Master of Public Administration degree is the recognized professional degree in public administration, public management and public service. GW’s M.P.A. provides students an opportunity to study management and policy issues while developing critical intellectual capacities, sound analytical skills and leadership and management expertise. Graduates work as managers and analysts in federal, state and local government, the nonprofit sector, advocacy organizations and governmental consulting. 

MPP: The public policy degree provides students with the ability to think clearly and analytically about social, economic and policy issues. Coursework focuses on policy research and analysis  to ensure students learn the basic analytical and methodological tools to engage in policy analysis and know how policy is made. Graduates work in a wide variety of policy analyst roles in all levels of government, as well as the nonprofit sector, think tanks, and research and consulting firms.
