Forum on Higher Education & Immigration
Start Date: 11/14/2017Start Time: 1:30 PM
End Date: 11/14/2017End Time: 3:00 PM

Colleges and universities, their students, and communities are being impacted by changes in U.S. immigration laws and policies in ways they have never been before. They are dealing with the uncertainty and anxiety brought by the Trump Administration's decision to rescind DACA and new policies in place affecting international travel.

The Forum on Higher Education and Immigration will examine the ways in which these new immigration policies impact colleges and universities from the perspective of leaders in higher education, business, the community, and the students most affected. A distinguished group of speakers will discuss what students, colleges, and communities are doing to respond to these challenges and what else can be done.

 Registration is required.

The Forum will also be live streamed on the GW Cisneros Institute’s Facebook page.
