Global Careers & Sexual Harassment: Workplace Strategies to Confront the Challenge and Thrive
Start Date: 12/1/2017Start Time: 11:30 AM
End Date: 12/1/2017End Time: 1:00 PM

The #metoo hashtag is lifting a veil that has hidden an ugly reality of the workplace, and it reflects a situation that is neither recent nor limited to any geographical region. Across the United States and the world, women and men are finally stepping forth to say “enough!” In this session, Ambassador Prudence Bushnell will lead a discussion for students on the topic of sexual harassment and career strategies to confront and survive it. She will be joined by GW’s own Chelsea Rose Ullman, who will provide a data and research bridge to our university and the wider movement, pointing to the Red Flag campaign information, which highlights strategies and tools for anyone experiencing sexual violence of any kind, and to other useful information in the field. Please join us!
