Howard Hoffman Lecture

Collegiate Creativity: Developing the Right Idea at the Right Time
Guest Speaker: Allen Gannett (CCAS '12), CEO and Founder of TrackMaven

April 25, 2018 | Duques Room 254 | 5:30 - 7:00 PM
Many college students often think spending hours coming up with ideas in their dorm room leads to business success and unicorn trajectory. This is the wrong approach, one that often leads to building solutions before actually understanding the right problem to solve.

Allen Gannett, 27 years old, started his first company while in college at GW. Today is the CEO of TrackMaven, and author of upcoming book, The Creative Curve (June 2018, Penguin Random House), which lays out a solution any aspiring entrepreneur can follow to become a creative success.
